Hi everyone! Looking forward to attending FCN again this year!

I am open now for conbadge pre orders. Order your badge now and have it ready and waiting for you at my dealer's table as soon as the room opens on Friday!

GENERAL INFO:
- Payment is due in advance, via paypal.
- I will send a scan of your badge to you via e-mail before the con.
- All badges are traditionally colored with marker and ink.
- Badges are laminated with an attached clip.
- All art and subjects must be G-rated.
- In the interest of expediting your order, no progress will be shared or corrections made. However, if I make a mistake with your character's design, I will happily fix it!
- Orders must be placed by APRIL 8th to guarantee completion for the con.

Hotel out of King rooms?

Apparently the hotel is out of king rooms. I tried to reserve a king about an hour after Gyr tweeted that the room block was open. I could not get one. I am arriving Thursday the 12 leaving Monday the 16 ( my Birthday ) Reserved a double. I do prefer a king. for 2 reasons I room alone, so its silly for me to take a room with 2 beads when all I need is one, let that room go to someone who is sharing the room, 2nd the king dose seem to offer more room as there is only 1 bed in the room. Gyr latter in the day tweeted that it was fixed. I tried to get a king on the website and they were still not listed Friday night and just now Sat morning. I for fun tried changing dates and the only way I could get a king room to come up was to check in on the 11 and check out on the 12. That would indicate 1 thing to me, the Hotel is out of king rooms already! and only 1 hour after the block was announced. Just wondering when the FCN 2012 Hotel page will be available.. The website still shows the 2011 convention information for the hotel.. I'm assuming there are furs wanting to start getting their hotel reservations in for next year.

An update would be nice.

Instructors needed for figure drawing panels at FCN 2012.

I'm starting on this a bit early. If you like figure drawing and would like to be an instructor, I have openings available.

There are three sections: general audience (clothed), fursuit, and nude (18+). Models are provided, and artists must bring supplies with them. As a speaker, I need someone to give some basic instruction and feed back to the artists.

The general audience panels are a hour long each, and the nude session is two hours.

I'm pondering organizing something. I will need someone(s) to be a guest speaker. 3/4 of my time will be involved with either the Sponsor Lounge and/or making sushi.

I will need 3 models and 3 back up models to be clothed, in fursuits (full please), and nude in addition to speakers. I will also need folks to help as door guards both inside and outside the room.

FCN '11 was an absolute blast! Words cannot express how much I enjoyed it this year. I TOOK SO MANY PICTURES WITH FUZZY THINGS! If you see any pictures of yourself, feel free to take them! If you have any pictures of me, please share them, I'd love to see! :D

My favorite thing about this con is how low-key it is! Very chill and positive, party all the time.

To everyone I met this weekend: I LOVE YOU ALL! I had such a great time meeting you guys and talking, you all made me feel SO loved. I cried more than once (you didn't see it, I was in a fursuit) out of sheer joy when you guys showered me in flattery and praise. I've never experienced that before. So many times this weekend I'd hear "HEY IT'S NIIKU I WANT A HUG/PICTURE OMG!" and I just didn't know what to do with myself, I was filled with joy. You all have no idea how much that means to me when you are so happy simply to SEE ME! And then to go on and compliment my work just really... thank you all so much. ;~; <3!!

And please if we chatted this weekend, PLEASE KEEP IN TOUCH! I loved meeting each and every one of you and I hope to keep in contact. :3

Also, the charity this year was for the wonderful organization Greyhound Expressions: http://www.greyhoundexpressions.org/ The con managed to raise a whopping $5000 to donate, it was amazing! I shared many a tearful hug with the wonderful ladies who run the rescue, I'm so very happy for them and bursting with pride in this fandom for being so generous. I hope that money goes a long way for them and their wonderful dogs.

What a party! Thank you all again for your love and compliments, your games, your parties, your glowsticks, your cookies and bacons, balloons and elevator raves!

I had a good time at FCN this year. I did not go into the con in a very good mood at all. Between real world crap, both home and work , even feeling down about the theme of the con after the earthquake, I was in a real down mood. When I left Monday morning I felt a lot better, and my mood had changed Thank you. I did take a lot of pictures over the weekend, that is a good sign that I was in a better mood, and I have posted them in my usual places

Another Awesome Convention

This year was just a cool as the last FCN. Awesome dances night after night plus the brilliant performances from Who's Lion, Comjuke's magic show, and the Fursuit Variety Show. Exile did an excellent job with the fursuit games and I can't wait to see the pictures of the fun carnage of soccer and musical chairs. Speaking of which, for those that have any pictures of the con, don't be afraid to post them up to these long lost sites of The Fursuit Archive and Frysco's Critter.net I've only seen just an group upload by only one or two people per con. So let's get a little archive revival thing going for them. Thanks to the awesome staff members for putting this con together.
